Obesity has been under the microscope so to speak for over 50 years. Study upon study has added to the stockpile of information attempting to define, and understand the issue. One obvious connection that is often included in obesity studies is overeating. Early studies indicated that the reason for overeating lay solely at the door of anxiety.

Further studies conducted throughout the years concluded that while anxiety was a cause of overeating it was not the only cause by any means. Studies have concluded since that overeating is a problem crossing all socioeconomic boundaries and in both male and female study participants.

Further studies conducted throughout the last several decades have led experts to believe that rather than anxiety…it is emotion that rules when it comes to overeating. At least this is true when the subjects being studied are obese individuals. This connection between emotion and overeating is apparent in both obese individuals seeking treatment and obese individuals not seeking treatment.

Obese overeating can be defined by secrecy. It almost always involves no real hunger. It almost always involves high calorie, fatty foods. Emotions that lead to overeating vary, but are often one of the following: anger, anxiety, frustration, loneliness, stress, depression. These emotions incorporate a large portion of the human public. The issue comes when the health issue (obesity) has affected more people than the individual. The declining general health of one adult is often felt by many (especially any children in the individual’s life).

Emotional distress seems to trigger overeating in obese individuals more than normal weight individuals according to study findings. Although coming up with accurate conclusions is difficult considering it is difficult to come up with an accurate “normal weight” control group for any obesity study. Studies typically utilize college students as their control participants so the socioeconomic variables are very limited when comparing the control group to an actual random selection of “normal weight” individuals.

Studies continue to be study and new studies continue to be undertaken in order to further understand the relationship between obesity and overeating. Emotional dependency on food is becoming more clearly defined with each additional study.

Amelia Handley studied exercise science in college with a minor in Nutrition. Yet she still found herself veering from diet to diet in order to control her weight. With HCG Diet Direct she’s found a program that allows her to combine her desire to control her own body weight with her education and not feel off balance.

When it comes to the obesity epidemic that is literally dragging Americans down with sheer weight…it is impossible not to consider the negative effects of fast food. Americans love the convenience. Americans love time savers. And it would appear that Americans love grease and fat and oil. But that last could very well be a byproduct of the first two loves.

The love of time saving and convenience led Americans to frequent fast food operations regularly. The frequenting of fast food operations led to an addiction to something that many see as more harmful that nicotine or alcohol: fatty foods. This addiction is no longer isolate to America either. As more countries adopt the habits of Americans (good and bad) more countries are falling victim to the obesity epidemic.

In comparison to a couple decades ago…people are eating drastically more. They are also obviously not eating at home. People in today’s society are more likely to eat out of prepare a pre-packaged meal at home than they are to actually make a meal from raw or fresh ingredients. Eating out/eating pre-packaged meals means that people are getting a lot more calories, larger serving sizes and decreased nutritional value. And these are all major factors in society’s losing battle with obesity.

When attempting to take baby steps towards better health…individuals should remember that restaurant food is often better (health-wise) than fast food. Restaurant food typically has higher nutritional content, lower caloric content, and smaller portion sizes. It also tends to include lower levels of unhealthy fats. Other common items to avoid when attempting to decrease risks for obesity and/or chronic overweight are juice boxes, snack foods, and soda.

One simple way in which individuals can begin fighting their own battle against the obesity epidemic is to decrease portion size. Studies indicate that small, frequent meals throughout the day result in lower weights than 3 “square” meals a day. But in addition to this modern society is going to have to readjust their priorities drastically. Time saving conveniences are great…but not at the risk of general health.

A large portion of society is already making moves to decrease their likelihood to experience negative health as a result of their weight. Many already suffering negative health effects due to their weight are taking action to alleviate the problems. The most efficient way to fight against the negative effects of chronic overweight and/or obesity is drastic weight loss. And the safest, most efficient way to experience drastic weight loss is through the use of homeopathic HCG weight loss formula.

Amelia Handley studied exercise science at university with a minor in Nutrition. Yet she still found herself veering from diet to diet in order to control her weight. With HCG Diet Direct she’s found a program that allows her to combine her desire to control her own body weight with her education and not feel off balance.

Everyone has felt stressed at one time or another in their lives. Stress is a universally understood phenomenon. It makes people tense. It makes people unhappy. Everyone understands that. But after effects of stress aren’t quite as universal as many think.

Some people respond to stress with cravings for unhealthy foods. Other people respond to stress with a drastically decreased appetite. They don’t think to eat. And when they do think to eat…they can’t eat. Both extremes result in weight problems.

Some experience drastic weight gain in response to stress. Others experience drastic weight loss. For those who experience drastic weight gain in response to atypically stressful time periods in their lives the consequences are often long lasting. For individuals who have never struggled with weight drastic weight gain can leave them floundering.

This particular type of individual can often find themselves stuck in a negative stress/weight cycle. They feel stress so they gain weight. They’ve gained weight so they feel stressed. They’re stressed so they gain weight. The cycle can continue on endlessly.

Homeopathic HCG experts suggest that drastic, efficient, natural weight loss is the solution. Individuals who have never struggled with their weight tend to have higher probability for success when a dieting protocol offers specific benefits: 1. drastic results, 2. short time commitment, 3. fast results, and 4. high maintenance success rates.

“New” dieters find that they are more likely to succeed with the all natural homeopathic HCG diet. It’s a unique combination of qualities that offers the complete dieting package all at once so the negative cycle leading to obesity can be broken. There’s nothing like instant and drastic weight loss success to relieve stress.

Amelia Handley studied exercise science in college with a minor in Nutrition. Yet she still found herself veering from diet to diet in order to control her weight. With HCG Diet Direct she’s found a program that allows her to combine her desire to control her own body weight with her education and not feel off balance.

The HCG diet comes paired with very strict protocol. Many find that it’s easiest to stick to the rules if they stick close to home. That way they avoid temptation entirely. They’ve got complete control of what food is available.

I call it hermit dieting and I have to say that it works for me. It works for a lot of people. But it’s not for everyone. Many dieters view the hermit diet as…well, boring!

And is it boring? I guess it is, yes. And for a lot of people that’s all it takes to make it an option that’s not worth trying. They need a different philosophy.

People who can’t handle hermit dieting go the opposite direction. They’re getting social. And why not? If hermit dieting doesn’t work it’s an obvious reaction to make dieting social. There are tons of people that are on the homeopathic HCG diet. Dieters are forming social groups that have the same weight loss goals.

So exactly what do we mean by being social on homeopathic HCG? We’re inviting you to have a party; an HCG party! Send out invitations to several friends that are also dieting. If you don’t think you know anyone on HCG…try letting people know you’re on it. Chances are that you know some people. Invite them over, tell everyone to bring an HCG approved meal (one serving) and everyone gets to taste a bit of a lot of different dishes.

If everyone brings one serving no one can overeat. There’s exactly enough food at the party for everyone to have one HCG approved meal. And you have just successfully enjoyed a social setting! And you’ve probably discovered a few new HCG approved recipes that you can now enjoy. You’ve sat back, relaxed and enjoyed time with friends without having to be afraid that you’ll slip up and eat something that will mess up the next morning’s weigh in!

And if you don’t go for the actual “party” idea, but you’re craving some temptation free interaction with other dieting adults you should jump on one of the social media sites: facebook or twitter or myspace, etc. You’ll be surprised just how helpful it can be to enjoy spending time with others who have your same weight loss goals in mind.

Amelia Handley studied exercise science at university with a minor in Nutrition. Yet she still found herself veering from diet to diet in order to control her weight.

When it comes to the homeopathic HCG diet there are several vital aspects that combine to provide the amazing average weight loss results (1 to 2 pounds per day) that continues to draw more and more dieters to the strict program.

1. 500 calorie per day diet

2. Daily use of the homeopathic HCG weight loss formula (3 times per day)

3. Adherence to the strict (and short) list of approved foods

The simplicity of the diet is a bit tricky. It is simple, but it’s still quite difficult. It’s a bit of a paradox. The problem comes when people who have never approached a diet as intense assume they’ll be able to stick to it without even trying. It definitely takes effort and reputable dealers will always offer appropriate tips and supplements to increase the chances of success. One popular “tool” is the shopping list.

Shopping List for the Local Grocery Store:

Lemons, oranges, strawberries, lettuce (iceberg and romaine), apples, grapefruit (red), cucumbers, celery, asparagus, sweet onions, green onions, bag of spinach, tomatoes (cherry, Roma, etc.), Melba Toast (wheat and garlic), No Sugar salsa, Real sea salt, Tony Chachere’s seasoning, fresh chicken breast or tenders, Jennie O turkey burgers, 93% lean turkey, beef and chicken, shrimp, lobster, crab, lean steak, tilapia (or other white fish), lean roast.

Dieters that begin with the list (and the other suggested shopping lists) in hand have a much easier time sticking to the protocol set down for the diet. The correct foods “on hand” make coming up with healthy, HCG approved meals easy. It’s especially easy if dieters take advantage of another one of the popular dieting tools offered by HCG Diet Direct, the eCookbook.

The shopping list makes it very clear what dieters need to get in order to have the foods they need to succeed. They’ll have raw foods to have as snacks while on the diet. And they’ll have the ingredients for a wide variety of HCG approved recipes from the cookbook. Both are absolutely necessary to succeed on the diet. And succeeding on the diet means losing a substantial amount of weight! And that’s the entire point, isn’t it?

Amelia Handley majored in exercise science in college with a minor in Nutrition. Yet she still found herself veering from diet to diet in order to control her weight. With HCG Diet Direct she’s found a program that allows her to combine her desire to control her own body weight with her education and not feel off balance.

What is the cause of the obesity epidemic? Many believe that there is no other explanation than those stemming from biologic factors. These factors are out of the control of the individual and don’t provide much hope for overcoming the obesity epidemic. Subscribing to biologic theory means believing that exercise and dieting play little to no part in weight loss/gain/maintenance.

There are others who argue the opposite. The obesity epidemic is due in large part to cultural factors…not biologic factors. This group insists that drastic change to the lifestyle habits embraced by Americans would result in drastic weight loss. And since obesity (and overweight) is directly linked to higher general health risks and lower quality of life…we’re talking about drastically improving the health of the nation.

Food production in the US reflects the overeating trend cited by experts that indicate the obesity epidemic is due to cultural factors. The US produces enough food daily to provide every man, woman and child in the country with almost 4,000 calories each day. This far exceeds the daily requirements for sustaining life.

In 2002 a study was conducted that supports the cultural theory. Food and drink was carefully documented for all study participants. Activity and applicable psychological factors were also carefully documented. The results were surprising yet obvious.

The results of the study made it obvious that those who eat more and those who eat from larger portion sizes will be the ones to gain weight. This indicates that biologic factors have little to no effect. This is a positive result considering that cultural factors allow individuals to take action in response to the problem. Biologic believers were surprised by the results. Cultural theory supporters found the results obvious. It’s an obvious solution that many overlook at this late stage of the obesity epidemic.

When considering the results of this and other studies it seems obvious that the general health of the nation would experience drastic improvement in response to small day to day habitual changes. People need to eat less and serve smaller portions. It’s an obvious and fairly easily understood lifestyle choice that can make a big difference.

Amelia Handley studied exercise science at university with a minor in Nutrition. Yet she still found herself veering from diet to diet in order to control her weight. With HCG Diet Direct she’s found a program that allows her to combine her desire to control her own body weight with her education and not feel off balance.

So you just started the 500 calorie HCG Diet? It definitely falls into the category of very low calorie. There’s even an abbreviation just for the “very low calorie diet.” It’s VLCD. The hard part for those who have a sweet tooth is dessert.

When you take advantage of the tools and accessories provided by reputable homeopathic HCG weight loss formula dealers and/or distributors you’ll find that making the most of the 500 calories per day can really leave you satisfied. You can have steak and steamed vegetables and still have a yummy dessert after dinner. Don’t believe me?

To prove that dessert is possible while on the HCG diet…check out a few treats outlined in the HCG Diet Direct cookbook:

The Strawberry Shortcake from HCG Diet Direct’s eCookbook is for one serving

Ingredients: plain melba toast, 2 drops vanilla creme flavor stevia, sliced strawberry

Instructions: take the melba toast and add one drop of stevia. Slice up a few strawberries and place them along the toast in a layer. Then add one more drop of stevia. And you’re finished. Don’t form an opinion until you’ve tried it.

Strawberries and Cream, 1 serving

Ingredients: strawberries, 1 tablespoon milk, 2-4 drops of vanilla creme stevia, 1 packet of dry stevia

Recipe: Slice up the strawberries and put them in a small sized bowl. Add the milk and Stevia (both types). Toss it all together and serve it.

The Strawberry-Orange Smoothie from HCG Diet Direct’s eCookbook is for one serving

You’ll need to have 1/2 and orange (1/3 cup orange juice as a substitute if necessary), 1 cup strawberries (fresh is always best, but frozen is fine), 3/4 cup crushed ice, 1/2 dropper any flavor Stevia (or you can use dry Stevia), you can also add a handful of frozen spinach.

Recipe: Blend everything together in the blender and blend it until it’s smooth. Pour and serve.

The homeopathic HCG diet cuts out sugar and fat. But that doesn’t mean that dieters can’t feel satisfied and indulged. The eCookbook offers several options that will enable “sweet tooth” dieters to stick to the protocol.

The homeopathic HCG diet requires dieters to pick up new habits. It often requires them to pick up new foods. It often requires them to cook foods in a more healthy way; using methods they’ve never used before.

Weight lost during the homeopathic HCG diet has higher maintenance success rates than other diets. That means that dieters who lose weight are more likely to keep it off if they lost it with homeopathic HCG. Why is that? It’s because they pick up healthy eating habits while they’re on the diet. Not least of these new, healthy habits is the acquisition of new foods.

3 foods that successful dieters often continue eating once they’re allowed to stop are:

1. Melbas: Melba Toasts are the most basic of starches. They are great for dipping in soup and they’re great as croutons. They’re perfect as a healthy breading (access the HCG Diet Direct Cookbook for details).

2. Asparagus: Steamed asparagus is often one of the healthiest new habits that dieters form while on the homeopathic HCG diet. A lot of dieters had never before tried asparagus until they’d been forced to by the short list of approved foods on the diet. Some get very attached to it.

3. Turkey: the miracle that is ground turkey is an easy and healthy replacement for ground beef. But a lot of HCG dieters would have never known if they hadn’t been forced to try something different.

A diet is doubly good when you not only take the weight off, but pick up new and fabulous good habits. And it makes maintenance so much more likely. The homeopathic HCG diet is a good one. People also love the fact that they can say, “homeopathic” and “all natural.

Are you wondering why everyone is talking about the homeopathic HCG diet? Are you wondering what in the world could entice so many normal people to undertake such a low calorie diet? Are you incredulous that so many people swear by the diet with no doubts as to its validity or effectiveness?

Why? You’ve got the basics, obviously. Are you refusing to face the truth of the matter? It’s obvious that there are tons of people willing to undertake the diet…they’re the same people out there telling their amazing weight loss stories!

Lisa V. lives in St. George, Utah. This HCG dieter said, “I have 3 kids. After the birth of the first two it took my 2 years to get down to my pre-baby weight. And I was depressed the entire time. It was really hard for me. After the 3rd child…I tried homeopathic HCG. It was amazing. I was down to my pre-baby weight within 2 months.”

Garrett S. of Tucson, Arizona says, “I’ve had enough gut for three people for most of my adult life. It killed me because as a young adult I was extremely active and athletic. I missed being able to expect my body to perform the way it was supposed to. I’m not a huge eater and I’ve continued to be active throughout my life. I felt like my weight wasn’t my fault. When I took on the challenge presented by homeopathic HCG I didn’t have huge expectations. But I got huge results. I lost 46 pounds. I feel great.”

Ginny B. of Austin, Texas says, “I can’t say that I ever knew what it felt like to be thin or even to be a healthy weight. I’ve always carried around too much weight for my body frame. But I can say that I was sick and tired of carrying it around. For my 30th birthday I treated myself to homeopathic HCG. By the time I was 30 years and 2 months old I was down to a size I hadn’t seen since Junior High.”

Homeopathic HCG is a household name because it changes lives. It doesn’t promise drastic results; it delivers drastic results. There are countless dieters and past dieters discussing it at this very moment on their facebook, MySpace and Twitter pages. Check it out for yourself.

Low calorie diets are hard. Very low calorie diets are even harder. The homeopathic HCG diet may be the hardest of all. Why? Because not only does it limit calories, but it requires a dedication to the oral drops that make the diet possible and strict adherence to a very short list of approved foods.

That\’s really asking a lot. Considering how tough the diet is…it surprises many that the majority of dieters are successful in completing the diet. Why are so many successful when the diet is so tough?

The success stories are nearly countless. And they\’re not limited to little successes. Some of these homeopathic HCG success stories can be described as no less than astronomical. Dieters see weight start to come off immediately (within the first week). The steady weight loss alone tends to be enough inspiration to keep most dieters from veering off the diet\’s protocol.

But just because so many have successfully completed the diet doesn\’t mean that dieters who succeed didn\’t have hard times or tough moments when they found it difficult to follow the rules. Of course they found the diet hard at times; that\’s only natural. In fact, most are able to identify where they usually were when the hard times occurred.

1. Home. Some dieters find that the hardest place to diet is their own home. They have their family there still indulging in bad habits. They have their own bad habits staring them in the face from their own pantries. The easiest way to alleviate the difficulties created by this particular location is to let the diet encompass the entire home/family. The entire family can stand to try the recipes provided in the HCG Diet Direct cookbook. Don\’t keep foods that you can\’t have in the house if you\’re going to want to have them.

2. At the work place. Other dieters know that their toughest moments are going to occur at work. We don\’t know our work associates as well as we know our families. They might not know why we\’ve changed our eating habits and they might encourage us to break the rules.

3. At parties and other social events. It\’s obvious why the party or social event would be difficult while on a very strict diet. You don\’t know what food is going to be served. So it is very hard to make any successful eating plans. The easiest way to avoid problems in this circumstance is to eat before you go and then stick to water.

Regardless of which times or locations are the toughest during the homeopathic HCG diet…it\’s worth it in the end. Dieters see consistent weight loss and the lost pounds quickly add to decreased clothing sizes. With this sort of motivation it is no longer that surprising that a majority of HCG dieters stick to their very low calorie diet protocol!
