Hair Regrowth Products Can Be Home Made Or Purchased
The main causes for hair loss are heredity factors, lack of vitamins especially vitamin B6, unclean condition of the scalp, stress, anxiety, worry and poor blood circulation. There are many hair re-growth products on the market today, and that does not include some home remedies people do to re-grow their hair.
Compared to women it is men that will suffer hair loss problems more, indeed it is estimated that around 50 percent of men will endure hair loss at some point of their life time. The market as mentioned before is also full of herbal based remedies but some experts believe that they rely on the placebo effect rather than hard science to be considered as reliable hair re-growth products. Some people like them because of their apparent lack of bad side effects.
Going back to Minoxidil, it was first used as a vasodilator, taken internally to help control high blood pressure. As time went by a curious side effect was noticed and that is that it either stopped or reversed male baldness. This discovery led to the Upjohn Corporation to make a product that was exclusively used as hair regrowth products known famously as Rogaine.
Rogaine is sold as Regaine in other places outside of the U.S. Even today it is not known exactly why it is an effective hair re-growth product. Finasteride is a drug that was originally used to treat a condition called Benign prostatic hyperplaysia (BPH). The Merck Drug Company got approval from the FDA to test its effectiveness against hair loss, the results were positive and it became an approved hair re-growth product.
In the herbal based hair re-growth products there are number of old remedies that people can do at home. Remedies using, mustard oil with mehendi leaves, saw palmetto, onions mixed with honey, egg yolk mixed with honey are just some of the anti hair loss methods that have been done in various cultures for a long time.
