Breast Augmentation Pre-Operation Question To Ask Oneself
Other women may desire to undergo breast augmentation surgery because they like how they finally feel very feminine with fuller cup size. Others may want it because it lead the way to entertainment stardom. There are also those who underwent the procedure because of medical reasons. And for others, they may want it simply because having it gives them confidence.
There are those who may view it disapprovingly, some may even it consider it as complete hollowness, but it’s not their choice; it’s yours. Luckily, society today has become more accepting of cosmetic operations, such as breast enlargement.
If you are thinking of having a boob job, ask yourself some questions first. Why do you desire it? It can be because of medical reasons, cosmetic reasons, or maybe you simply need a little push up to increase your self-esteem. Whatever made you decide to have it, be certain it’s what you want and not because others would want you to get it. This may sound like a lecture, but it’s your body thus you and only you have the right to decide what you want with it.
Also, ask yourself if you are totally healthy before going through this. Some undergo this operation because they have had mastectomy, or the surgical removal of one or both breasts, due to cancer in some case. But if you are getting breast enlargement operation because of other reasons, then make sure you are in total health. The procedure, as like any other surgeries, is risky. Depending on the process, you are either going to be sliced open and implanted with enhancer silicone or saline, or you are going to be injected with an enhancement substance. Whichever method you select, you would need to be in good health to be able to physically recuperate from the operation.
What size suits you? You may have the perfect cup size in mind, a triple D no less! But is it right for your body frame? You are going to get some additional weight on you, which your body isn’t used to. If you have a slim body frame, a big cup size might be too bulky for you. It could lead to far more health issues. Ask a medical professional which cup size is right for your frame. Look at before and after pictures of other patients who have undergone the surgery as well, just to give you an idea of what an extra cup size may look on you.
Is your doctor licensed to operate the procedure? You never know, but there are those so-called plastic surgeons that do lousy jobs on patients. Ask others for referrals and go to a respected surgeon. They may cost a little more but taking chances with your body isn’t worth it.
Do you have the time and patience to follow up your surgery with regular check ups? This phase is not optional, it’s compulsory. Don’t get breast enlargement procedure if you can’t have post-operation check ups. This will help identify if your new chests are getting problem or if your body is reacting well to them. You can have it each year or every after a few years. The important thing is, get regular appointment at the doctor’s office because your health counts on it.
Whatever your reasons for having breast enhancement procedure is yours alone. Others may not see it, but you don’t have to answer to them. But before you jump onto the operating table, make certain you have answered to questions. It may save you time and money, and not to mention, it may also save your life.
